Mocking Biblical Teaching is The New Standard For Democrats in 2020

Pete Buttigieg mocked Vice President Mike Pence and sound biblical teaching… and insulted us all.

On Sunday, the Mayor of South Bend Indiana and Democrat Presidential hopeful took a shot at Vice President Mike Pence in a rally. Buttigieg who is an openly gay mayor of a major city has been highly critical of christian teaching concerning sin of the gay lifestyle and the bible itself.

In fact, Buttigieg believes that God, the Bible and Christians are all wrong about our understanding of right and wrong, otherwise known as sin. On Sunday, Buttigieg gave a speech to a packed room, “If me being gay was a choice, it was a choice that was made far, far above my pay grade. And that’s the thing I wish the Mike Pences of the world would understand — that if you’ve got a problem with who I am, your problem is not with me. Your quarrel, sir, is with my creator.”

As a Christian, “I am the Mike Pences” Buttigieg describes in his speech and I do have a problem with him promoting his gay lifestyle.

Nevertheless, the mayor of South Bend Indiana fails to see how he is mocking the word of God, the lesson’s of the Bible and the many bible teachers who teach truth directly and strait from the bible.

God is slow to anger but his tolerance will not last forever. Buttigieg has openly mocked God and the many Christians like Mike Pence who come to the world with the message of God. Chronicles 36:15-16 states, “The Lord, the God of their fathers, sent word to them again and again by His messengers, because He had compassion on His people and on His dwelling place; but they continually mocked the messengers of God, despised His words and scoffed at His profits, until the wrath of the Lord arose against His people, until there was no remedy.”

The people like Mike Pence, including the many Christians who spread their faith, are the messengers of God when they life a righteous life and teach directly from the word. Liberals, Progressives and even left leaning churches mock most or all of God’s call to obedience. Therefore, if we allow politicians like Buttigieg to hold high office, we as a country could face God’s wrath.

As Christian’s, we must always teach the truth of God’s word regardless of the backlash we face in today’s culture and society. Mike Pence is a prime example of how we should live in this fallen culture. Simply explained, as a Christian, if we talk the talk, we have to walk the walk.

Another falsehood of Buttigieg is his claim “his creator made him gay”. The act of being gay is evil. A man sleeping with another man is clearly a sin. A man married to another man is just as bad. All aspects of Buttigieg’s life is ensnared by sin in one form or another. Sadly, he and his followers are so wrapped in secular dogma that he is blinded to sin and a life of death.

We find in James 1:13-14 that God does not create or tempt people with sin, this is a choice we make out of our own free will. James 1:13-14 tells us, “Let no one say when he is tempted, ‘I am being tempted by God’; for God cannot be tempted by evil and He himself does not tempt anyone. But each one is tempted when he is carried away and enticed by his own lust.”

As Christians, we must always teach the truth and call out sin when we see it. Sadly, many modern liberals see biblical teaching as hate speech and use secular morals to mock biblical teaching and for votes from the fallen. Clearly, mocking biblical values is a trend that will continue into the 2020 election cycle.

  1. American Christians should be mocked for being frauds – trying NOT to heal the sick, trying NOT to feed the poor, trying NOT to welcome strangers.

Instead, they practice greed, hate, and lying.

    1. I am sorry you have such low view of American Christians. Sadly, we are not perfect and do fall short of God’s example. But I am glad to work towards God’s example by being pro-life, pro marriage, against gay rights (right to openly sin) and a full fledge Bible believer. If society believes I am wrong then I am wrong for holding these beliefs. However, I hope to be right in the eyes of God and not man. You, sir, need to learn the difference.
